145+ YEARS OF CARDINALS HISTORY.
50 STORIES TIME ALMOST FORGOT
FOREWORD BY TONY LA RUSSA
The biggest names in St. Louis Cardinals history don't need an introduction. But what about the players fans once knew, loved and talked about, only for time to leave them behind?
In 50 Forgotten Cardinals, Will Saulsbery digs beyond the Hall of Famers and household names to uncover the remarkable, strange, funny and sometimes unbelievable stories of 50 players who helped shape one of baseball's most storied franchises.
Spanning more than 140 years of Cardinals baseball, it's a celebration of the personalities, peculiarities and forgotten moments that make the game worth remembering.
“Completely delightful. Appreciative and goofy.”
-Bob Costas
“A must read for any Cardinals fan.”
-Dan McLaughlin
